We get this question a LOT on our "Life OVER Seas" adventure. Can living on a cruise ship save you money? For us, this started as a vacation that we then expanded to work remotely with our clients and world-school our daughter, Livia. We spend days at sea teaching our daughter, working remotely, talking with the media, relaxing, and preparing for our next port and adventure. I've lived in Manhattan, all over California, outside Boston, and just outside Washington, DC- so for me- YES, you can save money. Ultimately, it depends on your lifestyle, budget, and how you live your life. We look at value- what are we getting from this experience and does it fit our current lifestyle?
