Over the past few years, cruise ships have become a huge part of our lives. Our family spent months living and remote working at sea during our “Life Over Seas” journey (I've even been called "The Cruise Queen"), so when news breaks about outbreaks onboard, countless people often ask us one question: would we cruise right now?

I had a great conversation with Jeremy Hubbard on FOX in Denver about exactly that, following two recent norovirus outbreaks on cruise ships and the recent hantavirus outbreak currently being monitored by the World Health Organization.
When you’re traveling in close quarters with thousands of people, illnesses can spread quickly - and we’ve seen firsthand how difficult that can be for passengers and crew alike.
While cruise lines have made major improvements in sanitation and health protocols over the years, these recent outbreaks are a reminder that travelers still need to stay informed and pay attention to what’s happening globally.
That doesn’t mean we’ve stopped loving cruises. Some of our most unforgettable family memories happened at sea. But travel decisions should always balance adventure with health, safety, and peace of mind.
So does that mean we would get back on board right now? Check out the full interview for answers...
