Las Vegas is known for its neon lights, larger-than-life shows, and over-the-top entertainment- but one of the most unexpected and surreal experiences you’ll find here isn’t on the Strip. It’s tucked just minutes away at AREA15, an immersive art and entertainment collective that feels like you’ve stepped into another world.

The crown jewel of AREA15 is Omega

Mart, a mind-bending immersive art installation from the brilliant minds at Meow Wolf. On the surface, it looks like a quirky grocery store-complete with shelves of brightly colored products, some with hilarious names and unexpected twists (ever seen a whole “Tattoo Chicken” or laundry detergent that makes you question reality?). But Omega Mart is so much more than a supermarket. Slip through a refrigerator door or wander past a soda display, and suddenly you’re transported into a sprawling labyrinth of otherworldly art installations, neon-lit caves, and interactive exhibits that feel like a mix of a video game, a dream, and a sci-fi movie all at once. Every corner hides a surprise, and you’ll find yourself losing track of time as you climb, crawl, and explore your way through the surreal storyline.

Another highlight that absolutely blew us away was the outside ride, LIFTOFF. It's a slow-moving observation type tower that takes you soaring high above AREA15 with stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip in the distance. At night, with all of Las Vegas glowing below and AREA15 lit up in neon, it feels magical- an adventure ride unlike anything else in town.

And then there’s Wink World, the creation of Chris Wink (co-founder of Blue Man Group). Imagine stepping into a series of mirrored infinity rooms, each one bursting with color, light, and music. It’s whimsical, trippy, and mesmerizing all at once. Wink World is one of those places where kids and adults react the same way- wide-eyed, laughing, and completely captivated.

We spent almost seven hours at AREA15, and even then we couldn’t see everything. That’s how much there is to do. From art installations and VR experiences to interactive bars and live entertainment, this is a destination where you’ll want to carve out an entire day (or night).

Whether you’re planning a family adventure, a unique date night, or just want to experience something totally new, AREA15 is an absolute must. Las Vegas is lucky to have this incredible art collective in its backyard- and once you step inside Omega Mart, you’ll see why people can’t stop talking about it.
