There’s something exhilarating about taking an idea from a recipe in your kitchen to a nationwide experience- and then trying to keep up with it as it takes on a life of its own.
That’s exactly what this first week of our Christianne’s Golden Mimosa rollout felt like.
Between now and Mother’s Day, we’re making it a priority to visit as many of the venues carrying the cocktail as possible- bringing the story to life on the ground, meeting the teams behind it, and sharing these experiences across broadcast, digital, and social. [See the recipe and list of participating venues around the country HERE]

We began in Las Vegas, where we were honored to film at Liam's Den and Bubble Bar at the Palazzo at The Venetian Resort. It’s exactly the kind of place you want to linger- elegant, elevated, and celebratory. If you go, pair Christianne’s Golden Mimosa with their caviar service or the Queen’s Chip and Dip- both are exceptional and turn the moment into something truly special.
We officially launched the campaign on CBS in Las Vegas on April 13, sharing the recipe alongside video from our Nevada locations, including Katherine's Steakhouse (full review coming soon). And then, as this journey tends to go- we packed up and caught a flight to Northern California.

The very next morning, we were up early filming live segments at Sienna Restaurant with Good Day CBS, one of two Sienna locations featuring the cocktail. Between segments, we had the chance to experience their brunch- and it’s one you don’t skip. From the Lobster Eggs Benedict to the beignets with Jack Daniel’s crème anglaise, every dish delivered.
If the weather cooperates, sit outside- their patio overlooks the surrounding vineyards, and it’s easily one of the most beautiful views in the region. You can also enjoy the sunset views while drinking Christianne’s Golden Mimosa. Full disclosure, I created this cocktail in the evening, so it’s wonderful every time of day. From there, we made our way to ERIA- and this stop was something truly special. With sweeping, 180-degree views of the San Francisco Bay- the only one of its kind in Sausalito- it’s a place where you lose track of time. While we were there, we spotted multiple dolphins-including a mother and baby- jumping just beyond the waterline. It was one of those rare, magical moments, made even more meaningful because I was able to share it with my mom as we celebrated this campaign together. She loved the cocktail inspired by my childhood memories (and yes- she had two). ERIA is the kind of venue that becomes a destination in itself, whether for events, celebrations, or simply an afternoon soaking in that extraordinary view.
Next stop: Southern California.
At Top of the V Steakhouse at The Viv, we found ourselves in another full-circle moment. If you’ve ever watched me on TV, you know my love for Disneyland Park runs deep. I grew up there- and even worked for Disney during my time at ABC News and Good Morning America. It’s still my happiest place on Earth. So when I realized you could actually see Space Mountain, the Matterhorn, and so many iconic landmarks from the restaurant- where Christianne’s Golden Mimosa is being served- I genuinely got emotional. Yes, I’m that person.
The food, led by Chef Jayro Martinez, matched the moment. The grilled Spanish octopus with celery root purée, Basque sausage, and winter citrus was incredibly tender and full of layered flavor- my daughter’s favorite- and adorned with delicate edible flowers, it looked like a true work of art. Chef Martinez clearly understands that you eat with your eyes first, and every dish invites you in again and again (full review coming soon).
The Mediterranean sea bass, with perfectly crisp skin and preserved lemon, was a revelation- paired with broccoli rabe and finished with edible flowers, it was as visually stunning as it was balanced and unforgettable. The picanha, cooked to a perfect medium rare and finished with chimichurri, is the kind of dish you come back for again and again. And even the Caesar- beautifully plated with edible flowers- was transformed into something extraordinary, as striking to look at as it was satisfying to eat.
Rounding out our West Coast tour, we made our way to PLANTA Cucina in Marina Del Rey- a standout in every sense. With multiple PLANTA locations across the country also carrying the cocktail, this stop felt especially meaningful. We were greeted by Peyton, Colton, and Chef Hannah Conti, who served us one an incredibly delicious and memorable meal and a true highlight of our trip. A few dishes we’re still talking about? The Bang Bang Broccoli (crispy, craveable, and perfectly balanced), the Avocado Beetroot Tartare (fresh, bright, and layered with texture), and the Udon Noodles in truffle mushroom cream- rich, comforting, and unforgettable. PLANTA is the brainchild of Chef David Lee, who created something truly special in PLANTA (full review coming soon).
One week in, and this journey has already taken us from the energy of Las Vegas to vineyard views and Pacific Ocean vistas in Northern California, from dolphins in Sausalito to breathtaking Pacific Ocean views in Marina del Rey and skyline and theme park sights in Anaheim- all complete with Christianne’s Golden Mimosa- and some of the most memorable meals we’ve had along the way.
And we’re just getting started.
